A bit about me
My name is Andrew Gould, and I'm a career music executive.
My journey in music started with
classical piano as a young child. I practiced, performed, and competed until college.
After college, I moved to New York City and spent two years working in real estate finance. But I had always known I wanted a career in music. If I didn't go for it, I would have always regretted it. So I put together my strategy and executed it in my free time. With persistence, patience, some strong guidance, and a bit of good fortune, I manifested the career I had always hoped for.
I'm at it now for over 20 years and am more fulfilled than I had hoped.

This is built for people looking to land their first job in music, at labels, publishers, distributors, management companies, law firms, agencies, promoters, streaming platforms, startups, or music tech companies.

How it works
Four steps between you and the session.
01
Apply
Tell me who you are, what motivates you, and anything you want me to know. I read every application personally.
02
Hear back
Selection is about fit, not potential. If I'm not confident I'm the right guide for you, I will respectfully say so and we will not move forward.
03
Book your session
Accepted applicants will receive an email with a link to schedule and handle payment.
04
Go time
You and I have a 50 minute private video session to discuss where you want to arrive and your best paths forward.
Why I do this
A few conversations changed everything for me.
When I wanted to pivot into the music industry, I had so many questions and often felt lost. During that period there were a handful of conversations that were a game changer for me. These gave me newfound knowledge and clear direction that unquestionably helped me land my first job. I want to be a high value resource to the next generation of executives and provide this same valuable service.
What to Expect
Fifty minutes, built around you.
I read your application before we talk, so the session starts where you actually are, not with a generic industry overview. We'll get into your specific questions, your target path, and what's actually standing between you and your first job. If something in your plan isn't working, I'll tell you directly. Bring a notebook — you'll want to write things down.
Pricing
One session, one price.
Cost should never be the reason we don't work together. If the fee is a genuine barrier, say so in your application.
$399
One private 50-minute session
Video call — quiet, private, off the record
Built entirely around your path
